Questions we have been asked so far include:
1) What is the Cart Page and how is it used?
The Cart or Shopping Cart is where all the parts requested reside until the user sends the requests through our system to the dealer that has the parts listed in our database. The Cart page can be used to update quantities or remove items.
2) Do I have to buy from each of the dealers I am sending requests to?
No, this is just opening an e-mail discussion between you and the dealer.
The dealer may have actually sold the part and not updated this site yet.
So it might actually behoove you to ask a couple of dealers at the same time, if there are
multiple dealers with the same part(s).

3) What is the Upload Page all about? |
The Upload page is used by the dealer to send the list of items they have for sale to our database so that we can display that information for the buyer to see. The format and just how to send that information is documented in the help section of our site as well as listed on the upload page itself. We even have an example the dealer can download and use as a template if he chooses. We always offer help to anyone desiring more assistance with this process.
4) How do I upload other types of files other than Tab Separated Values?
We currently offer only tab separated value uploads. If you call us we can work with you to get your files onto our database. If you look closely at the template that we offer on the structure of the fie, and follow it closely, keeping columns named as we have them named, and do not include blank colums, most data uploads should work just fine.
Now with that being said, we are trying to add other abilities for you so please let us know what you are
interested in so we can see how we can help.
5) How do I pull this information from my System automatically to get it to you?
This is so varied of a question and it really depends on your specific system. We currently have info on HBS© to assist you and are developing more every day.
So call us and we can see what we can do for you. If you have developed your own and would like to share with others please let us know that as well!
We hope to add a Dealer Forum section soon where dealers can share this kind of information among themselves.
6) Is there a charge to me if I use your database software?
No, There is no charge to the buyer to use our system. Your costs are with the dealer alone. Our system is designed to allow dealers and buyers to connect, thereby selling inventory items the dealer has listed.
7) Is it hard to become a dealer?
If you have inventory that you want to list and move through our system, it isn't hard at all. First you join our system as a dealer (there is a monthly fee) upload your inventory as per our requirements, which we can help if you feel unable to do so. Your inventory will become available for buyers to see. We would suggest purchasing a management package to track buyers and to compare price of similar item between dealers, allowing you to set your price most competitively.
8) What if I have problems with the dealer? Do you offer any recourse or help?
No, Currently we have no control with either the buyer or seller. We can remove either from the system if we feel that person is abusing the system. We have been talking about a rating system by the buyer and dealer to give feedback and at least display warnings from buyers like yourself to possible future buyers. Other than that, we have no legal control of the morals and ethics of buyers and dealers.
9) What is the Dealer Search page?
The Dealer Search page is used to locate dealers near you, for instance. It is primarily a tool for use by the buyer or dealer to locate dealers we have within our system. It is possible that you are looking to drive to their store to pick up the item in question.
